Noosa Art Gallery is excited to announce our upcoming participation in the Affordable Art Fair Brisbane, taking place from Thursday 7 May to Sunday 10 May 2026 at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
We will be presenting a curated collection of original works, bringing together a diverse selection of contemporary artists alongside new works from Luke Deacon. This year’s presentation reflects a considered balance of styles, voices, and price points—offering collectors an engaging and accessible way to discover exceptional Australian art.
The Affordable Art Fair is one of Australia’s leading art events, attracting thousands of visitors and collectors each year. It provides a unique opportunity to experience a wide range of original artworks in one location, with all works priced accessibly and ready to take home.

TIDE FORMS- by LUKE DEACON
Luke Deacon is a contemporary Australian painter and director of Noosa Art Gallery. With over two decades of experience teaching and exhibiting art internationally, his work explores the meeting of nature, spirit, and abstraction. Drawing inspiration from the coastal light and rhythms of Noosa and the Sunshine Coast, Luke’s paintings evoke a sense of stillness and movement, reflecting the emotional tides of place and memory. His layered, gestural approach captures the energy of the landscape while inviting quiet contemplation. Alongside his studio practice, Luke is dedicated to fostering community through art education, exhibitions, and creative experiences.

Over 350 attended the official opening of ‘Noosa Nouveau’ at Noosa Art Gallery.
It was an opportunity to connect with the vibrant Noosa Arts community, meet the artists face to face and preview the exquisite talent of Noosa and Sunshine coasts most exceptional contemporary artists for 2025.
Acknowedgement by artists Jandamarra and his cousin Tio laid the foundation for a beautiful night of connection and culture-including live music by young local talent Rudi.
12 artists have been selected to exhibit in Noosa Nouveau and it will run Jan/ Feb.
